conditions of entry in English

Bases:

1.- Anyone can participate whatever their nationality , origin and age. With out any contract of a record company.

2.- Any prospective participant can send a DEMO CD to the adress provided or better send some MP3s to the email provided. There should be at least two songs but not more than six . In order to enter the competition you need to an email address and phone number, artist name, city and country, DNI number if applicable, Residence visa or Passport number from you country of origin. The postal adress for CDs is : Av/Cataluña nº48 3º b 43002 Tarragona and the email adress is : premisolgaxirinacs@gmail.com on the Subject Songwriters 2011

The songs must be the artists own work in whichever style , language or instumentation.

3.-The organisation will select 14 finalists and 3 reserves out of all the entries received.

4.-The organisation will contact the finalists personally to confirm their acceptance and availability to take part in the competition. If one of the finalists in not available or in agreement then one of the reserves will be selected.

5.-The final stage will take place on the 19,20 y 21 of August 2011 in the plaza del Sedassos in Tarragona. Each finalist will perform for 20 minutes . The finalists will chose the material they wish to perform but may not be accompanied by more tan two other artists during the performance.

6.-The contestants should tell the organisation about any technical requirements for their performance (including any accompanying artist only one) at least a month before the final of the contest. These requirements must be clearly communicated to the organisation to ensure the best technical conditions for the artists during the contest. Drums are not acceptable .

7.-Contestants will be given ample advanced notice of when exactly they will be performed. All artists will be expected to arrive in time to do a sound check however. This will obviously take place on the same day as the soundcheck however and contestants will be given plenty of advanced notice as to when their soundcheck will be .

8.- The winner of the competition will be judged by a panel consisting of two musicians and a music critic chosen by the organization. The judgment of the panel is non negotiable . The jury will give out the awards . The songwriters who are part of the judging panel (obviously) cannot take part in the competition.

9.-The III International Singer songwriter competion of / Tarragona 2011 Jordi Francolí It is a competitive exhibit for the selection of the two songwriters finalist which have to play on Sedassos square of Tarragona.

the following award :

-The award for the best overall Singer songwriter in : 1500 euros.

-Best singer songwriter living in Tarragona award: 500 euros.

If the best sonwriter is from Tarrgona, the award of the best singer of Tarragona will be the second because in any case we will give the two awards to the same singer songwriter.

-The two winners have to play a Live concert in the festival of Santa Tecla Major parties of Tarragona on 23 of September Square of the King

10.-The dates of presentation are 02/02/2011 to 07/07 2011

11.-The contest organizers can not now pay for travel, subsistence or accommodation outside songwriters Tarragona participants in the competition shows the 19,22 and 21 August.

12 .- The two singers selected are required to perform at the concert in Santa Tecla on September 23, the international singer songwriter has the room and diets (breakfast, lunch and dinner paid) singer-songwriter dinner Tarragona paid that night.

13.- To be permitted to enter the competition you must accept all the above conditons.

14.- The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the bases.
